I am having this error when using pspm_pupil_pp

In pspm_pupil_pp>pspm_preprocess_pupil (line 327)

when running this:
pspm_pupil_pp('D:\path\to\file\pspm_gc90.mat',options);

p.s I don't have problems with path names when running other scripts
This is with Windows environment, Matlab 2023b
I'm using the codes from PsPM-develop
