I also encounter the same problem.
For "RuntimeError: cannot join current thread", it can be resolved by updating tqdm to version 4.31.1 in my case.

Still, I haven't found a solution for "RuntimeError: cuDNN error: CUDNN_STATUS_MAPPING_ERROR".
