Thanks, @marlonrichert. This patch doesn't actually fix the problem for me; I still get

(anon):22: bad pattern: funcs=(\n      ~zsh-autocomplete/functions/.autocomplete.*~*.zwc(N-.:a)\n  )

Hm, weird. It worked for me the first time around, but not now when I do it again from scratch. 🤔
