What?

This removes one preloaded endpoint, since its not used anymore. Fixes #51803.

Why?

This will improve loading speeds and performance generally.

How?

Just remove the extra endpoint from the array.

Testing Instructions

  1. Open the console, and open the network tab. Filter by navigation?context
  2. Open the Site Editor
  3. Open the navigation section
  4. Confirm that you don't see anything in the network tab

This removes one preloaded endpoint, since its not used anymore

Looks good. Thanks for following up and reducing unwanted requests.

This will need backporting to WP Core though.

Unfortunately WordPress/wordpress-develop#4628 already got merged.

This was merged in time for GB 16.2 RC 1, so no need for backporting to Gutenberg RC.
