Rails generators configuration and Sidecar

Hi there,
Just wondering if there is a way to permanently configure view_component generators to always use the sidecar option, without passing it each time ?

I am not very familiar with customising generators, but is there any way to configure Rails.application.config.generators in config/initializers/generators.rb ?
The only option I see on the documentation is for template_engine.
