I think Uberi seems to have abandoned his project. Someone needs to fork the project. (Maybe SpeechRecognition2 ?) |

We have already done that, see https://github.com/fossasia/speech_recognition/tree/deepspeech For now I will upload packages only to our gemfury repo, but if nothing changes in the future, I might rename it and upload it to pypy and continue working on it. |
- find versioned model files based on loaded deepspeech version - allow passing in model/scorer files

Since Deepspeech is no longer maintained, maybe it is better to switch to Coqui? |

The current PR provides DeepSpeech support within speech_recognition, similar to PocketSphinx. Model files need to be installed according to the README in the
deepspeech-datadirectory.
