overwriting categorical type parameters in analysis script not working as expected

Parameters which are coded as categorical variables cannot be over-written as expected in analysis scripts (i.e. by the Scenario class). One workaround currently is to use type=STRING but in future using a categorical variable offers additional checking (finite and known options for parameter value).
