This is the project done for the E-Yantra Robotics competition 2023-2024 which lasted a total of 7 months. Here ROS was used to develop the controller of an autonomous drone whose purpose is to find aliens in space and organize the data.

We developed a luminosity drone for the e-Yantra Robotics Competition, a national-level robotics contest in India conducted by IIT Mumbai . The drone was designed to detect and report alien life forms on an unknown planet using ROS2 and specialized robotic components. The drone followed a fixed path on the terrain and used sensors and algorithms to identify the coordinates and species of any encountered aliens. After exploring the whole map, the drone returned to the research station and transmitted the collected data.


This repo consists of the various levels of code that we worked with and the code in each Tasks.
