reflective-potential is an open source repository associated with a science project initiated by Reflective Earth (RE) in 2020. RE sought to better understand the potential of different geographies to contribute to Earth's surface-reflected outgoing solar radiation via their albedo (i.e. reflectivity).

Roadmap

1. Develop code to ingest, process, analyze, and visualize scientific data
2. Open source the code associated with the project
3. Draft a manuscript for peer review
4. Submit the manuscript for peer review, and make revisions as necessary
5. Publish the manuscript as a peer-reviewed article
6. Maintain the code used to generate the analyses presented in the article
