Manage multiple instances of Project Arrhythmia (Legacy branch) with Project Launcher!
If you would rather install manually, follow the BetterLegacy guide instead. If not, then follow this one. (Install guide based on Catalyst guide)
- Verify you are on the Legacy branch.
- ℹ️ As BetterLegacy is obviously made for the Legacy branch, it will not work on any other.
- ℹ️ Go to your Steam library and right click Project Arrhythmia then click on Properties. Navigate to the Betas tab and change the Beta Participation dropdown to the Legacy branch.
- Open the Project Arrhythmia application folder.
- ℹ️ On your Steam library, right click on Project Arrhythmia and go to Manage > Browse local files
- Download ProjectLauncher.
- ℹ️ Make a new folder where you will extract ProjectLauncher.zip to.
- Unzip the ProjectLauncher.zip file.
- ℹ️ Drag and drop the contents of the zip file into the folder.
- Select the Project Arrhythmia application to make a new instance from.
- ℹ️ Press the folder icon to open file selector, find the location of your Project Arrhythmia application and select it.
- Create a new instance
- ℹ️ You can name it whatever you want, just don't include symbols that don't work with folder directories and don't include a + sign.
- Select the mods you want to use, change the version, update and then launch.
- You just installed BetterLegacy and you can now keep track of updates, awesome! Hope you have fun with the mods, whatever you end up doing. If something breaks or you have a general suggestion for the mod, feel free to open an issue or make a pull request if you want to help with modding.
