Cone Angle Tool

The cone angle tool can be used to calculate the Tolman cone angle for unsymmetrical ligands or exact cone angle of a ligand. This can be used to quantify the size of ligands. Tolman cone angles are limited to mono- or bidentate ligands.

The cones for ligands can also be visualized. For Tolman cone angles, there will be one cone for every fragment attached to the coordinating atoms. For exact cone angles, there will be one cone that encompasses all ligand atoms.
