The Breeze icon theme has a disk-quota icon that is used (amongst other places) in the system tray. Currently Papirus does not have this icon, so when using the materia-kde themes, the breeze icon still shows. It is a status icon, and I have attached the breeze icon (svg format).

The disk-quota icons in Breeze are located at /usr/share/icons/breeze/status/22 and /usr/share/icons/breeze/status/24. In Papirus I assume that the location should be /usr/share/icons/Papirus/symbolic/status.
I was wrong. The following fixes the icon in the system tray: sudo ln -s /usr/share/icons/Papirus/22x22/panel/quota.svg /usr/share/icons/Papirus/22x22/status/disk-quota.svg && sudo ln -s /usr/share/icons/Papirus/24x24/panel/quota.svg /usr/share/icons/Papirus/24x24/status/disk-quota.svg
