Movie Search App

Welcome to the Movie Search App! This React application allows users to search for movies using the TMDB API, view search results, and access additional details about each selected movie.

Installation

To run this project locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/movie-search-app.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd movie-search-app
  3. Install dependencies:

    npm install
  4. Create a .env file in the project root and add your TMDB API key:

    REACT_APP_API_KEY=YOUR_TMDB_API_KEY
  5. Start the development server:

    npm start
  6. Open your browser and visit http://localhost:3000 to access the app.

Usage

  1. Enter a movie query in the search bar.
  2. Real-time search results will be displayed as you type.
  3. Click on a movie from the search results to view additional details.

API Integration

This application integrates with the TMDB API for fetching movie data. Ensure you have an API key from TMDB and add it to your .env file.

Code Structure
