FatPad is a more robust and aesthetically pleasing alternative to Notepad.
It's intended to be used as a simple, easy on the eyes, and intuitive editor for your day-to-day text file needs.
It's NOT intended to be used as a replacement for your code editor of choice although there's nothing stopping you from using it as such.
Download the latest release from here
If you already have a previous version (down to v2.1.0), you can just download the No-JRE.zip of the latest one and replace the FatPad.exe
Just run FatPad.exe.
For a better experience, consider pinning FatPad.exe to the Start Menu, Taskbar or setting it as the default program for opening .txt and other filetypes.
CTRL + T creates a new tab
Middle clicking the tab bar also creates a new tab (like in a browser)
Middle clicking on a tab closes it
CTRL + W closes the current tab
CTRL + wheelUp / wheelDown zooms in / out
