Since running
yapf -irp .results in hundreds of changes (ugly changes too), it's pretty obvious it's not been in use for a while.The repo could maybe be reformatted with
ruff format(which is basically a faster black), but for now it doesn't seem to make sense to have configuration and setup for a tool that isn't used.
