πŸš€ Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.8 or later
  • Node.js 14 or later
  • npm (Node Package Manager)
  • Git

Setup Instructions

  1. Clone the Repository:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/InsightCode.git
    cd InsightCode
  2. Backend Setup:

    • Create and activate a virtual environment:
      python -m venv venv
      source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows use `venv\Scripts\activate`
    • Install dependencies:
      pip install -r backend/requirements.txt
    • Set up environment variables by copying config/settings.py to config/.env and configuring necessary variables.
    • Run the backend server:
      cd backend
      python run.py
  3. Frontend Setup:

    • Navigate to the frontend directory:
      cd frontend
    • Install dependencies:
      npm install
    • Start the frontend application:
      npm start

Running Tests
