- Clone the Repository: Start by cloning the project's repository onto your computer. You can do this by opening your preferred terminal and entering the command to clone the repository.
- Open Chrome Extensions: Launch your Google Chrome browser and click on the three dots at the top-right corner to open the menu. From there, hover over "Extensions" and click on "Manage Extensions."
- Enable Developer Mode: In the "Extensions" page, you'll find a toggle switch labeled "Developer mode." Make sure to turn this switch ON. This will enable you to load and test your own extensions.
- Load Unpacked Extension: Once developer mode is enabled, you'll see new options appear. Click on the "Load unpacked" button. A file dialog will pop up.
- Select Cloned Folder: Navigate to the location where you cloned the repository earlier. Select the entire folder associated with the extension.
- Confirm Selection: After selecting the folder, click "Open" in the file dialog. Chrome will load the extension from the chosen folder.
- Extension Ready: You should now see the LangChain-Powered React Chrome Extension listed among your installed extensions. You might also see its icon appear in the Chrome toolbar.
