Thanks for testing our new native mobile apps for Invision Community. This repository is used only for tracking issues that our beta testers report to us.

Installing the mobile app

To install the app, you will need to have been invited via your email address for the iOS App Store or Google Play store. Want to sign up to test? Please complete this survey.

iOS

• Install TestFlight from the App Store.
• Once we've sent your invite to your Apple ID email address, you should see Invision Community listed in TestFlight. Tap Install.
• The app will be installed as a new icon on your home screen, with a small orange circle next to it to indicate it's a beta app.
• TestFlight will prompt you to update when we release new builds.

Android

• Opt-in to the testing process here (note that this is a closed testing process, so only users we specifically invite can access that link)
• You will then see a store listing from where you can install the app, here

Reporting bugs/problems

To report an issue, click the Issues tab on this page. You will need a GitHub account in order to post issues.

When submitting an issue, please follow these guidelines:

• Check to see if your issue has already been reported.
• Use a short, descriptive title.
• Provide as much information as possible in the body, including:
  • Important: Which platform (iOS or Android) you are using
  • Where the error happened
  • What you were doing that led up to the error occuring
  • Whether it happens all the time, or only in some situations
  • If you received an error message, what it said
• A screenshot or video is very useful to illustrate a problem.

Providing feedback

• Please post an issue if you have a specific piece of feedback or idea for the app.
• Be as descriptive as possible.
• If your feedback is something we'll aim to address immediately, we will turn it into a bug report.
• If your feedback concerns a larger idea or future plans, or requires more discussion amongst our team, we'll close it so that we can track it using our internal tools.
