There's sure been some time since I first began doing adblocking. After more than 4 years, I've only now begun to be considered an adblocking industry veteran. Here's to many more years of success and veteran status.

We've come a very, very long way since the previous quote-unquote "release". With just shy of 120 lists, and more advanced syntax than ever, this is a good time period for this repository.

2,000th commit celebration!

My lists have come a long way since I started out in late 2017, and now I consider myself to be nothing short of the world record holder of making the most adblock lists from scratch, with the strictest calculation being 41 lists, and the loosest calculation being 70.

Now I have made the 2,000th commit to this repo, which seemed so far away when I started out... which it indeed was.

This whole hobby of mine was originally simply to cloud-share my personal entries between my PC and my phone. Then I realised that I had enough entries for Norwegian sites in it, that I spun them off to their own publicly intended list and slowly submitted them to adblockers. And the rest is history, a history that still stands strong.

To celebrate the considerable progress these lists have seen in the past six months, and the relatively rapidly increasing userbase, I hereby announce that this repo is no longer merely experimental, as the lists are here to stay! 🎉

I'm however nevertheless probably unable to change the name of ExperimentalNorwegianList.txt, as it'd break the adblockers' direct links to it. 🐹

I was tempted to add a collective TXT file of the lists to this announcement, so that offline coders could experiment with them, but I feared it'd probably cause confusion among laymen. If you do want to experiment with them, just paste all of the text of a file into a local notepad. It's even easier than it sounds. 🔧
