This build of dwm does not block color emoji in the statusbar, so you must install libxft-bgra, otherwise dwm will crash upon trying to render one.
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/Daerckdev/dwm
Compile and install:
cd dwm
sudo make install
If you use a display manager you also have to do:
sudo make xsession
