Cogito x Infor

Description

This project is a collaboration between Cogito and Infor AS, aimed at exploring and developing recommendation systems. Our partnership resulted in a fully-functioning MVP on our own custom test-website. The website contains sample-products fetched from Amazon, and will recommend similar products to the one the user clicks on, so called "cross-sell"-recommendation.

Prerequisites to run the project:

• Node v20 or newer
• Docker (desktop)
• Python v3.10 or newer
• Git LFS

Run project:

Backend (must have Docker Desktop running):

cd backend
docker-compose up --build

Frontend (Coming soon to docker compose also):

cd frontend
npm i
npm run dev
