Coregistration fails to perform a subset

When a dataset spanning a larger geospatial extent is coregistered onto the grid of a dataset that covers a smaller geospatial extent, the larger dataset is squeezed into the smaller extents and then resampled. Coregistration should first subset the dependant dataset and then resample it to the appropriate grid instead.
