Thanks to @johav johav we have been given access to a snipet of preprint server bot code https://github.com/JeffSpies/osfpreprints-feed/blob/master/main.py
I am having a look at it as it needs to be redeployed with adjustments made to include AfricArxiv, also @johav's contact has alluded to the fact that such changes may come with a tiny bit of cost. Johav's contact has graciously indicated very kindly that he would be happy to sponsor our deployment as he could probably make use of it too
a possible collaboration.
