When I run using Qemu::init in it tells me Invalid ELF image for this architecture

But I'm sure that with the command line it works fine

I added libafl_qemu with cargo. Do I have to build the whole repo?

No, but you may need to add feature="i386" (or whatever architecture you want) to the import in Cargo.toml
