Now that I'm working on an EL8 patch, I realized I have contributed to this repo but it does not have a license. Without a license, anyone other than the author (copyright holder) cannot legally use the source or binary contained even if GitHub allows them to view it.
Both upstream repositories (brl/aligo) use the unmodified license of OpenSSH. And as a contributor, I'm glad to license my contribution open source but I cannot represent the owner or any other contributors. And I think it is important to get the approval from all existing contributors and select a new license.
