Hey

I run a film club web site in Norway called https://spirituellfilm.no/

  1. Each month we screen a movie. I use similar fields for each movie.
Synopsis, images, trailer, technical info: https://spirituellfilm.no/filmer/171008-being-here/

I also have a movie archive page listing movies screened by year: https://spirituellfilm.no/filmer/filmarkiv.html
(The page was made with html and Dreamweaver many years ago, I just kept updating it.)

This would be a good example on using GCF and Gutenberg.

This is how I would see the process in Gutenberg:
Create a custom post - movie.
Create a layout. Save it as a template.
Each month I would load the template and fill in the information needed.

Create the movie archive page. Dynamic movie posts that show featured image and below it name of the movie and month screened. Right now I would not know how to handle the archive by year. An example at the above link, but in general it goes like so:

Year
Thumbnail for each movie screened that year. With movie info and screened month below it.

Have a great day..:)
