Nostradamus.js

Installation

$ npm install nostradamus

Usage

Option 1

Rules

Some rules your parameters must abide by:

  • alpha >= 0.0 && alpha <= 1.0
  • beta >= 0.0 && beta <= 1.0
  • gamma >= 0.0 && gamma <= 1.0
  • m > 0
  • m <= period

module.exports = function(data, alpha, beta, gamma, period, m)

  • data {Array} series of input (numbers) from which a forecast should be made
  • alpha {Number} overall Level component
  • beta {Number} Trend component
  • gamma {Number} Seasonal component
  • period {Number} number of observations per 'season'
  • m {Number} number of future observations to forecast

module.exports.memo = function(options)

  • options {Object} options to memoize if forecasts follow a fixed format
    • length {Number} length of each frame of input (i.e. data.length)
    • alpha {Number} overall Level component
    • beta {Number} Trend component
    • gamma {Number} Seasonal component
    • period {Number} number of observations per 'season'
    • m {Number} number of future observations to forecast
