Benin Multimodal AI Hackathon

Project Title: BeninGbe2Image

Short Description: Generating culturally relevant images from local languages such as Fon and Yoruba, to improve cultural accessibility and preservation of Benin's languages.

Long Description: BeninGbe2Image addresses the challenge of cultural preservation in Benin by leveraging AI technology to generate vibrant visuals from languages such as Fon and Yoruba. Targeting language enthusiasts, farmers, tourism agencies, and Beninese expatriates, our application fosters cultural appreciation and sustainability. Unique features include multilingual support, accurate translations, and culturally relevant image outputs.

Our Team

How to Clone and Start the Project Locally:

  1. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/vivienogoun/benin-ai-image-generator.git

  2. Navigate to the project directory: cd benin-ai-image-generator

  3. Install dependencies: npm install

  4. Start the development server: npm run dev

  5. Open http://localhost:3000/ with your browser to see the result.
