Rationale: A little-less-dark on dark background is never good usability.

The text in the legend has contrast ratio of just 1.64

This is very basic, but it needs to be emphasized: accessibility and usability matter. A lot.

Yes, that's right to a most humans. I'll make the other exports after hours maybe. I know an importants of accessibility supporting to common, major humans.

But, I "author" was choice the very low-contrast and very dark sketches to rev.0. Because, it was the first requirement and it is a nessessary "accessibility" to me. And I don't like showy metadata. Although, you might not worry, wait a minutes...or a few days.

🎉The next update "rev.1" will include an alternative contrast/background exports. These might be a good option for users who want to use PNGs instant. But more support is impossible to me. I'm not a graphics designer. However, the dark/low-contrast version is most important to me. And there is no cost or skill to spend on perfect universal design or comprehensive accessibility for a wide range of users.

Usagi @usagi I think you completely misunderstand the point. Perhaps I was unclear? Allow me explain.

Don't over-think this. It's simple.

When you create something, make it readable. That's it! This is all there is to it.

There is no magic formula, other than common sense. The common sense is, up to a point, highly contrasting foreground and background colors are more readable than low-contrast pairs.

Try this experiment. Look at the 10 websites you visit most. Or look at just a few of the more popular websites on the Internet. Google, Facebook, Amazon, Instagram.... pick a few. What do they do? They must be doing something right.

One thing they all do: they use contrasting colors, typically dark colors on light backgrounds. Whatever they do, in all cases, the contrast is much higher than dark-grey text on darker grey background.

Another thing. Ambient light, and displays, matter.

Right now I am outside, sitting in shade. It's 10:30 AM here. I am looking at this on a 2019 MacBook Pro that I purchased with the best-screen option.

In my ambient conditions, right now, I cannot see the text in the bottom left corner of this screen-shot segment. There is no visible text, there, in my ambient conditions.
