Is there an existing issue for this?

I have searched the existing issues

Expected feature

Automate the release process so that new PRs are easier to integrate

Create beta branch which is default
Auto release beta on PR merge
Auto update version number
Auto release main when beta is merged into it

Possible Solutions

No response

Context / Reason

Current release process requires manual intervention which is not as easy to maintain
