Should use https://github.com/paritytech/polkadot/releases/tag/v1.0.0 dependencies

We are falling behind and unable to keep up with many fixes on Upstream.
It is imperative that we prioritize this update in our 3.14 project. Currently, we are using Polkadot 0.9.42, while the latest version is 1.4.0. There are a lot of changes that break things along the way. @xmonader @renauter

Update: I made a first step by upgrading to polkadot 1.0.0 to be included in tfgrid 3.13
PR is ready for review

Going to polkadot 1.4.0 could be part of other issue scope
Still need to evaluate if the latter would be part of tfgrid 3.13 or 3.14
