Update for maya 2025?

I want to ask is there an update for maya 2025?
i tried to install it in 2025, but it didn't work

Hi @charcoaleat, at the moment it doesn't work on 2025 since there's differences with PySide. I'll check this out and follow up here when it's updated.

For now a pull request was made to help make it work in Maya 2025. This was pushed to a different branch named maya-2025-compatible. I may not use this as the official solution, but for now you can try that out so it unblocks you from using it in Maya 2025.

I'll close this issue once I get something pushed into the main branch.

it works, but it's quite laggy. I don't know why. Every time I load the skinweight into the table it's extremely laggy

I'll have to see if anything has changed between Maya versions that's causing the slowdown. In the meantime can you try it out using the list instead of the table? Table has always been slower especially if you grab a ton of verts.

I don't know, it's so laggy that I can't even move the UI panel
