The description says "Sapper Express Node Template". Maybe the T should stand for TypeScript? 😄 It might make it easier for people to find this when they want to use TypeScript. And if you decide to update it here you can also at https://github.com/sveltejs/integrations#sapper-templates-boilerplates

It was a good suggestion, but I think that the template can provide user option to select preferred language: TypeScript or JavaScript

This issues will be resolved when SvelteKit will be released and CLI for SENT-template will be create by me.
Because in the direction of the repository is a subframework for development with Svelte & Sapper.
