How to search for all spelling errors within a project?

I inherited a 200k line coding project . When I look at code it finds lots of spelling error.

How to search for all spelling errors within the project and get a list of all of all the files with issues so I can go through it and fix them 1 by 1.

Reading all the code to find the issues is not feasible

There are a few ways to do this:

Using the REPL

Starting with v4 of the spell checker extension, there is a spell checker REPL.

Opening the REPL

There are a couple of ways to open the REPL:

• Use the command: F1 -> Spell REPL to open a new REPL in the Terminal.
  

• Use the context menu in the terminal:
  Choose the dropdown:

  Choose Spell Checker REPL:
  

Checking files in the REPL

Use the check command to check files matching the glob pattern.

Check all Markdown files:

check **/*.md
