What Are Controls?

User controls are the graphic knob files used by the Decent Sampler engine to create the user interface (UI) controls for the Bare Bones XS instrument presets.

• The Decent Sampler platform supports custom JPEG or PNG control graphics in KnobMan format.

Using Controls

Bare Bones XS includes two (2) knob designs which are intended for use as UI controls in your custom Decent Sampler instrument presets.

To use custom knob designs, simply add the image file(s) to the 'Controls' folder and update your instrument preset file(s) accordingly using a text editor.
