I'm interested in using brok to check links in non-plaintext documents, mostly MS word. I was thinking that I could convert MS word to plain text using pandoc and then process with brok.

To streamline, I've tried a few different ways of piping output from pandoc directly to brok but I haven't been successful. Is this possible? It could be my lack of familiarity with bash but I thought I'd ask.

Using MacOS 10.13.6, bash.

brok doesn't currently support piping. Would be a useful feature though.
