Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently the location, request, and purchase timeseries tables use real time when generating timestamps. This results in the data being unrealistic as subscribers literally fly around at impossible speeds.

Describe the solution you'd like
The timeseries tables should simulate time at a more reasonable rate. This requires some kind of "simulation clock" concept which runs faster than real time.

Describe alternatives you've considered

  • scale time by a constant multiple at ingest time
  • use a new table in SingleStore to track "simulation time" - update it at the end of each batch or at some fixed rate
