Hello,

i didnt get a sound out of the NAM because i was figuring to trying out which input devices and output devices connect to my interface, it was a shame none of them worked, but my interface showed on the display (that´s also a problem) but i uninstalled it and wanted to install it again but sadly it wont pop up anymore on my screen and my happy feelings were gone, because i wanted to try the NAM so bad!!!!!!

Please Help QUICK!!!

Kind Regards and thank you in advance

@Benji1308

Maybe remove the settings.ini file from

C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Local\NeuralAmpModeler

and try to start again ?
(just trying to help)

  1. The standalone app will only recognise an input from the first input of your audio interface
    eg. input 1

The workaround here if your interface has a hi-z guitar input only on the second input and not the first input, is either use a di box into input 1, or use the plugin in a DAW (as then it won't matter which input you choose).

  1. As for resetting the app, you should be able reset the app by following the advice give above by Peter.
    i.e. deleting the settings.ini found here:

C:\Users[ReplaceWithYourUserNAME]\AppData\Local\NeuralAmpModeler *** replace with Your User NAME

Also... it may also be wise to use the task manager to check if the app has been properly closed.
Also... restarting Windows / the computer, may be useful if all else fails.

  1. There are other alternatives, Atomic Amp's Tonocracy and Wavemind's NAM Universal both have standalone apps that can load NAM models... and there may be others. Links to those are found on www.neuralampmodeler.com
