I think we should roll a 1.2.0-Mx release ASAP for M3

(#316 is about moving towards a "real" 1.2.0 release)

wait for scala-collection-compat to publish
- Publish for Scala 3.0.0-M3 scala-collection-compat#404
merge 3.0.0-M3 PRs
- add Scala 3.0.0-M3 (drop M2) #335
- Scala 3: Sonatype won't let us publish without a doc jar #337 fix Scala3doc issue
choose version number
- let's go with 1.2.0-M1, I guess
tag the release and write release notes

wait for release build
