Currently, we are using ipfs object stat and its CumulativeSize for checking if the given hash has the size that the user paid for. This though sums sizes of the all linked objects and does not take in consideration deduplication mechanism of IPFS.

Currently, IPFS does not support this calculation natively but is possible as described in ipfs/kubo#5910
