Hi, thank you for reporting.

Ruby 2.6 has reached End Of Life a while ago and isn't supported anymore by the Ruby team. That means if there are build failures on newer architectures (like M1), it's hard to find resources and support to fix that.

You could try installing the latest 2.6.x version and see if that changes things. Alternatively, if you're hoping that a community member in our forum might give you some pointers on how to fix compilation, it would be helpful if you could copy-paste the full log from a file into a gist and share that gist URL here. 🙇
