Hi,
I'm currently testing out Stytra with zebrafish larvae. I'm using an IR light as well - with that, I was wondering what the parameter bounds are to track the fish: specifically, Bg downsample, Bg dif threshold, Threshold eyes.

  1. Am I supposed to configure this with an IR light?
  2. Whenever I adjust the values for these, the background difference isn't substantial enough for the fish to be fully white or seen to be tracked. Saw your previous answer about this and tried adjusting for different images but still can't seem to track the fish because I don't know the bounds for the parameters.
    Is there a video tutorial?

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Rhoshini

Sorry for the late reply, this came during my holidays and I've missed the notification!!

  1. Yes, we always use IR illumination for tracking;
  2. Have you sorted this out in the meantime? If you don't, do you have an example movie - even just a raw screen capture - that you can share?

Apologies again for the delay.
