An idea for a name which implies alittle more the functionality:

kubevirt-persistentvirtualmachine-addon
kubevirt-vm-persistence-addon
kubevirt-persistence-addon

/vote kubevirt-vm-persistence-addon (the persistentvirtualmachine almost reads like a german word ;) )

Second vote would be kubevirt-persistence-addon, but I'd be careful about possible naming conflict with something else in the future.
