Current Behavior

Based on a different project, pcdshub/ads-log-daemon#11 indicates the LDAP client object may be poisoned after one failure and require reinitialization (or switch to the reconnecting client class provided by python-ldap).

Expected Behavior

  • whatrecord plugin for ldap queries should continue to work reliably, even if the server fails once
