It seems the dev community is keen on Svelte 5 so let's do it! Create a branch off master for users who want to stick with Svelte 4 but upgrade master to use 5.

shadcn for svelte 5 is in the works too huntabyte/shadcn-svelte#1182
looks like bits-ui is nearly done huntabyte/bits-ui#469 (from my understanding it will not use melt-ui anymore)

I’m actually using melt myself for the Preline components. I guess I could use bits-ui instead but I prefer melt for building my own reusable components.

I would be super excited to see a port to Svelte 5 with runes :)
