How to add additional fields

HI,

How to add additional fields in "nova_menu_menu_items" and display it in a form , Like i want to to store template name against the menu and want to get it once the menu is targed or active.

I tried to follow as well, but no fields are being displayed for me:

I used the commented-out return values in the above links to create a PageMenuType. After selecting Page Link, I don't see the data, value, or options field.

Here is an example of my file:

After looking around the repo, I found this: https://github.com/outl1ne/nova-menu-builder/blob/b51d014506b383431a023fe84046e595b2af544a/src/Commands/CreateMenuItemType.php

This indicated to me that there are two types, select and custom. After changing getType() to select, I now see the options field. However, what if I want to add a custom field to store an icon class name? How can I add additional fields? It looks like we can store things in the data column, but I don't see how. I am new to Nova, so if this is obvious and I am missing it... sorry.

In case anyone else stumbled here, you set getType to custom and add fields the Nova way. Very nice!

            Text::make('Icon', 'icon_class'),
        ];
 }

The attribute will automatically be stored in the data field as an array/json.

Correction: There are 4 total types: custom|text|select|static-url.
