Hello. We have an API running in expressjs that uses various AWS services. When running in a codespaces container, the IoTData client will not connect to its endpoint. Connection timeout. Other AWS services are fine. I believe that it is using an MQTT connection.
The same API works fine running in its various production deployments, and also when running in a docker container on one of our machines.
What is very strange is that we can install the AWS-CLI in the codespaces container and interact with IoTData just fine. So we know the environment variables being set by codespaces secrets are correct.
Are there blocks to certain types of outbound connections? We are completely stumped. Thank you.
