I think I understand: The whole page freezes after you click the button; forcing you to refresh the page to restore functionality?

Just for greater clarity:

This occurs on github.com in a users dashboard.

If a user clicks the "three-button-menu" on a feed item, and selects "show less activity like this", the function takes place but the page immediately freezes and remains in that state until the page is refreshed.

interesting.... are you using esc to close? there is another known bug around that.

The culprit that we found was that the JavaScript didn't include .close() on the element. Maybe clear your browser cache?
