On further investigation it seems like the APK is missing classes which are being loaded during runtime out of thin air it seems, or at least through a mechanism that I've not yet found. That is of course problematic. |

I'm trying to hook an app which uses obfuscation with unprintable unicode characters as classnames. I'll provide details if necessary (can provide the whole log privately), though I'd prefer not to spoil it publicly. What I'm trying to do is hook a class which is referencing another class with unprintable unicode characters in the name, for some reason that crashes the app.
The hooking fails with:
Followed by the whole app crashing:
If I do not hook this class, everything works. The same code (for hooking) is working with other apps, classes and methods just fine, though I cannot exclude that there might be a culprit I'm not recognizing.
The second class not found is referenced by the first one.
Has somebody seen such a thing before?
