dfu bootloader v3.1 does not exit cleanly

Summary

When dfu-util completes it throws an error

Current Behavior

Copying data from PC to DFU device
Download    [=========================] 100%        99405 bytes
Download done.
DFU state(7) = dfuMANIFEST, status(0) = No error condition is present
dfu-util: unable to read DFU status after completion (LIBUSB_ERROR_NO_DEVICE)

Expected Behavior

dfu-util should completes without error and exit cleanly
